Tennessee Urban & community forestry program- supported the state of Tennessee's u&cf program through partnership development and programmatic assistance; forged connections and fostered collaboration with communities, citizens, non-profits, state and local government agencies, private sector, higher education, and regional/national organizations; supported implementation of u&cf initiatives, including arbor day, technical assistance to communities, demonstration projects, and internal trainings.41 attendees at 3 technical assistance workshops hosted by tdf with support from tufc.
Tufc tree programs- managed tree recognition programs with the purpose of promoting tree diversity and the benefits of trees to the public through place-based experiential education; arboretum program -- certified 25 arboreta; tree sanctuary program -- designated 4 sites as tree sanctuaries; landmark, historic & heritage tree registry -- reviewed 50 applications for eligibility.
Tufc education & outreach programs:hosted in-person and virtual events with the purpose of educating the public and Urban forestry stakeholders; held annual conference with 105 attendees and awards banquet with 120 attendees; hosted 11 webinars with over 2500 attendees, 2000 isa ceus awarded; attended 20+ community events.
Other exempt purpose program expenses that support tufc's mission.
