The Tennessee Entomological Society is a group of individuals dedicated to the dissemination of entomological knowledge and enthusiasm throughout Tennessee. The society is open to everyone who has an interest in insects, from professionals to hobbyists to amateurs. They hold an annual conference where entomologists from across the state gather to share knowledge and enjoy conversations about insects.

Program areas at Tennessee Entomological Society

Annual Tennessee Entomological Society meeting. Hosted approximately 50 students and scholars for 2 days of entomology speakers and research presentations.
Student research awards. An award competition was held for students presenting their research. Awards were given for students at the undergraduate masters and phd level.
The membership dues allow us to provide student and other awards and to guarantee future meetings where space speaker fees and other items may require funding.
