Tech Exposure and Access Through Mentoring (Team) is preparing students for the bounty of career opportunities available at the intersection of sports and technology. While sports are a powerful outlet for promoting teamwork, responsibility, and passion, not all paths lead to a professional sports career. Team Inc. is committed to creating alternative paths for these youths to thrive, by educating them on and connecting them with, opportunities to work in sports technology. Team core programs include 5 and 10 hour bootcamps and a 35 hour intensive program that is comprehensive and focused on stem, with a specific focus on basic coding and design, video coding, and data analytics (among other skills). Additionally, students prepare for an industry certification exam that connects them to job opportunities immediately by working in roles as video and data analysis for high school, college, and professional sports teams. 80% of core program graduates have earned an industry certification, making them the youngest certified users of an industry leading software.
