Program areas at Teaching Lab
Teaching Lab scales high-quality and curriculum-based professional learning and coaching to schools, districts, and state education agencies. Teaching Lab's core model is described as core academic content ("head"); teacher-led community of learning ("heart"); cycles of inquiry ("habits") and a focus on the pursuit of educational equity ("equity"). Teaching Lab integrates curriculum-based professional learning, side-by-side coaching, and culturally responsive Teaching and leadership coaching to build the capacity of educators to improve instruction and advance educational equity. In 2016, tl had one state partnership and limited district partnerships. In fy23, we reached 11,189 educators and over 700,000 students across 63 school systems.
