Build a 220-bed Super Specialty Hospital in Vemagal District, Karnataka, India with primary focus on Mother & Child Care (OBGYN) and Adult & Children Cardiac care. The Hospital campus hosts four blocks - Hospital Block, Kitchen & Nurses Block, Attendants Accommodation Block and Doctors Accommodation Block. All services in the hospital (diagnostics, treatment & surgery, medicines and post-treatment care) will be provided for Free to people in under-served communities and from under-served locations; Food and accommodation for the patients, attendants, doctors and staff will be provided for free in the campus. The grant facilitated the ongoing rapid construction of the Hospital and the allied buildings. By the end of 2022, nearly 40% of the construction have been completed. The expected commissioning of the hospital is envisaged to be in the second half of 2023. Uniquely, all construction staff are given accommodation, food and medical attention for free, as they work on this Temple of Healing (Hospital).
Provide Medical Care, Education and Social Welfare (village adoption) for the under-served communities in under-served locations. Treated over 75,000 patients through Medical camps, serving, children to the elderly in impoverished & leprosy afflicted communities and in underserved locations like Arunachal Pradesh (at 14,000ft above sea-level); Adopted six schools, six villages and provided all essential household needs, assistance with education, skills training and jobs placement.
Provide Food & Nutrition 24/7 to the most under-served communities & in under-served locations. Post COVID, we have resumed and expanded our schools and locations. Over 5 million meals have been served for free from Breakfast for school going children and children from impoverished neighborhoods to midnight food service for truck drivers at highway checkposts.
