Now in our third year, we continue to recruit volunteers from the black community, now up to 50 people from professionals, police officers and tradesmen, to help reinforce change and promote unification. Multi-media:tc has reached millions of americans through its multi-media platform, published articles and speaking engagements. Published articles have appeared in the new york post, the federalist, the Washington times, minneapolis star tribune, and others. Kendall and/or sheila qualls have appeared on local radio and tv news platforms, including but not limited to fox and friends, the tucker carlson show, america's newsroom with bill hemmer, and the dennis prager show. We continue to speak to dozens of groups throughout the metro and greater Minnesota educating parents, civic organizations, and schools on the dangers of critical race theory and disputing claims of systemic racism, while encouraging unity and equipping citizens to push back against the divisive narrative. In addition to a multi-media platform, tc is forming coalitions with local non-profit organizations and pastors from the black community to speak with children, mothers, at-risk teens and ex-felonies using the organization's foundational principles:1. The promise of america is available to everyone regardless of skin color or social station.2. The private sector and free enterprise are the fastest route from poverty to prosperity for all americans. 3. A quality education is the gateway to prosperity and parents deserve school choice to ensure their children have access to a quality education. 4. Restoring the traditional nuclear family in the black community should be a priority both locally and nationally.because much of the population uses cinema as an educational medium, tc has produced the largest video library of black americans that denounce critical race theory, black lives matter (blm) and promote the traditional values of america as a formula for success. We also produced a one-hour documentary, i am a victor, which exposes the fallacy of the progressive left's narrative that america is systemically racist and black americans are victims.the film, which is available on salemnow, has received national attention and was featured at two summer film festivals in nyc and las vegas. In addition, victor was featured in a new york post article along with founder and president, kendall qualls. This cinema platform will continue to be a bedrock of communication for tc as we convey our message to the masses and recruit additional volunteers in Minnesota and other states.tc has held seven private showings of the film in the metro and throughout greater Minnesota, including mankato, alexandria, st. Cloud, and rochester, and a new high school chapter of turning point usa. In 2021, tc hosted jason riley at our annual gala. Riley is a fellow at the manhattan institute and a columnist for the wall street journal. At the 2022 annual gala entitled "law enforcement and the black community," tc hosted brandon tatum, author and nationally syndicated talk show host, and devon westhill, a trump-appointed deputy assistant secretary for civil rights at the united states department of agriculture. Mr. westhill is currently president and general counsel at center for equal opportunity.in addition, tc also co-hosted a lunch forum with cae with speaker wilfred reilly, associate professor of political science at Kentucky state university and the author of the books "taboo: 10 facts you can't talk about,' "hate crime hoax, and "the $50,000,000 question." Local and national influence:father's day 2023, takecharge launched the first annual fatherhood impact award. According to the pew research center, the united states has the highest percentage of children that grow up without a father than any country in the world - x3. That's why we launched the fatherhood impact award this past father's day with the plans on making it an annual event. We sponsored five churches in the twin cities to recognize up to three men in their congregations that meet the criteria in the book the man code by mark henry. The list includes:1. Real men do not abandon their families2. Real men train their children3. Real men honor their wives, and 4. Nine others key points in order to qualify.we recognized the winners from each church with a personalize certificate, a copy of the book the man code and a monetary gift card. In addition, we had their pictures taken and we placed half page ads of the winners in the star tribune on father's day detailing the problem of fatherless homes in the united states and recognizing these men as a solution we need to see more of locally and nationally. In august 2023, mr. and mrs. qualls were invited by the president of the heritage foundation to be on his advisory board as it relates to addressing the problems in the black community from a common sense perspective and consistent with american values. This board meets on a quarterly basis.in 2021, mr. qualls was invited to participate in the invitation-only old parkland conference in dallas, Texas, where leading intellectuals, researchers, and practitioners discuss alternative proven approaches to tackling the challenges in the black community today. The conference was hosted by glenn loury, jason riley, ian rowe, and shelby steele with justice clarence tomas as the guest speaker.the qualls were invited to attend the heritage foundation's strategy sessions in 2021 and 2022.locally, mr. qualls has been invited as a panelist on an internal Minnesota department of education to discuss academic decline in minneapolis public schools and the determent of diversity, inclusion and equity.mr. Qualls was also invited to assist non-partisan school board candidates across the state. This year, tc has partnered with alpha news, Minnesota's largest conservative news outlet, to produce a weekly podcast, fully charged. On fully charged kendall and sheila qualls tackle issues other platforms avoid and provide an analysis rarely heard in the public arena.in 2021, the center of the american experiment invited tc to join their statewide "raise our standards" campaign, which informed minnesotans of concerning revisions to the state social studies standards and the dangers of critical race theory. Recruitment:in 2022, seven volunteers were recruited to tc bringing the total to 51. Future plans and expansion:vocational education: strategic plans for the future include collaborating with other non-profits to start a private vocational high school initially in the twin cities with goals to open additional vocational high schools in 5 - 7 years in duluth, st. Cloud and rochester. Expansion: tc has volunteers outside the state of Minnesota and plans to open chapters in greater detroit, mi, and columbus, oh. These sites will replicate tc's core message in local markets and recruit volunteers in their communities.magazine: tc will begin publishing a bi-annual news magazine. The magazine will become an important communications tool to spread the counter-cultural message and solicit support. Tc will solicit contributions to cover the costs.community forums: tc plans to introduce community forumsto be held in the black community--to address issues and topics impacting the black community. Mr. qualls has been invited to los angeles, ca, to produce a prageru video next year.
