The SUTTER YUBA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION is proud to support the continuing education efforts of the students in our area. Through the generous donations of local philanthropic individuals and organizations, we offer several scholarship options for applicants to choose from each with unique qualifiers and benefits. Scholarships include post-secondary education and training programs including awards for college or university, accredited technical, trade school or certificated programs. Awards are also available to assist with the cost of union initiation fees, first year union dues, tools, books, protective equipment, etc
Grants awarded to organizations with four characteristics: an active board of directors, sound financial management, demonstrated ability to carry out the proposed project, and recognition by the internal revenue service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
