American Legion Post 73 of Sunnyside fosters Patriotism and Americanism through its mission as a Veterans Organization. Its Honor Guard performs ceremonies on Veterans Holidays, while Military Honors are accorded to all veterans when they pass away. Our Veterans Post is presenlty building the larges Veteran Memorial in the Northwest. As of today it has 22 large granite walls already installed. Each weighing over 3 tons for a total of 66 tons of granite already purchased, installed and paif for. Our plans call for a total of 42 large granite walls to one day be installed. We also have 15 members on our Honor guard to perform ceremonies.
