Program areas at The Sunny Day Charitable Foundation

Organizations serving kids received $73,500 of The 2023 grants. These included grants to fund after-school elementary programs for The arts (cardinals' nest), bringing travelling art into local elementary schools (carnegie picture lab), and for The ymca childcare program. Grants were also award to ymca to support The youth and government program.
The Foundation seeks to empower women by making programs/resources available to abused or disadvantaged women. This was accomplished through grants given to hope street, a rehabilitation home for women struggling with addictions; christian aid center, a facility to provide meals and emergency shelter; providence Foundation to support free mammograms and The cancer center; and ywca for capital improvements to The women's shelter.
