Strides of Strength Therapeutic Riding

Hippotherapy program - this program provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech / language therapy via equine movement as a treatment strategy for the client. The movement of the horse influences the client, the client actively responds to the movement. The therapist directs the movement of the horse, analyzes the patient's response, and adjusts the treatment accordingly. The movement of the horse creates a combination of sensory, motor, and neurological inptue. This effective strategy is integrated into the treatment plan to help each patient reach their goals.

Minis on the move - this program interacts as a theraputic outreach in which minature horses are employed to interact with adults in assisted living and nursing homes, children in day care centers, and those who are experiencing homelessness.

Camp skye program - this is a 3 day horse camp experience tailored to the student's age and interest. Students receive hands on education to teach the foundations for horsemanship and is available to children ages 5 to 18 of foster, military, and first responders.
