Conducted civic engagement programs to educate and inform 11,000 residents about key issues on climate justice, workforce development opportunity, health equity and public investment that impacting the quality of life for South Los Angeles residents. Published key research briefs to inform civic engagement efforts in low-income communities of color. Provided leadership development training for 100 grassroots leaders & residents to increase their capacity to take an active role in shaping community-based solutions. Convened and actively participated in local coalitions to increase partnership and strategic collaboration across issue areas impacting oral health, climate change investments, environmental impacts, and economic opportunities. Trained local, regional, and national organizations to increase their capacity in community organizing & leadership development, civic engagement programs, landscape analysis, and strategy development.
