Stein Hospice is a not-for-profit agency comprised of caring and committed men and women dedicated to providing the highest standards of hospice and palliative care. From doctors and nurses, to chaplains and social workers, volunteers and board members, everyone who wears a Stein Hospice badge shares the same mission – to provide comfort, compassion and support during life’s final journey. From our first patients more than 30 years ago to today, we have not wavered from this commitment. We treat each patient like family, which is why when you choose Stein Hospice, you are never alone.

HOSPICE CARE SERVICES ARE ABOUT PROVIDING PEOPLE (ADULTS AND CHILDREN) WITH A LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESS, AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH CHOICES AND DIGNITY. CARE IS PROVIDED WHEREVER THE PATIENTS LIVE; IN THEIR HOME, IN A HOSPITAL, ASSISTED LIVING/LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY OR at two HOSPICE HOUSE residential facilities. IN 2023, STEIN HOSPICE SERVICE PROVIDED 38,883 PATIENT DAYS. CARE IS PROVIDED BY A TEAM OF PAID STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE AVAILABLE 24-HOURS A-DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. ADDITIONALLY, BEREAVEMENT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR FAMILIES FOR MORE THAN A YEAR FOLLOWING THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE.
