In 2023, St. john'Johns's treated 8,616 inpatients, through 43,901 patient days with a large proportion (71%) being medicare and medicaid patients. The Hospital's inpatient and outpatient specialty services include bariatric surgery, behavioral health services, breast care, cancer care, cardiology services, diagnostic imaging, emergency services, holistic care services, hope center, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, maternity, orthopedic surgery center, physical therapy, respiratory therapy services, sleep services surgical services and wound healing.
St. john'Johns's operates the cochran school of nursing, an associate degree program whose purpose is to train nurses. In 2023, 224 students were enrolled at the school. Founded in 1894 at St. john'Johns's Riverside Hospital, the cochran school of nursing is the oldest hospital-based school of nursing in the metropolitan region. The school offers a registered nurse (rn) curriculum leading to a deqree of associate in applied science.
In 2023, St. john'Johns's provided 43,400 days of inpatient drug and alcohol substance abuse services to 7,696 patients. Outpatient follow-up treatments and support services provided for 48,182 client visits. The inpatient rehabilitation program is based upon the 12 step philosophy and provides a comprehensive array of services to men and women in separate, gender-specific units. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric disorders and those with a history of relapse are welcomed. Outpatient treatment programs include a day rehabilitation program and a clinic program.
