The Spokane Waldorf Education Association educates children through a humanistic approach to pedagogy based on Rudolf Steiner's educational philosophy, using the Waldorf education system. The Windsong School provides education for 152 students and has a faculty and staff roster of 13 lead teachers and 7 support staff members. Through their Tuition Affordability Program, 29 low income students have been able to attend the school.

Program areas at Spokane Waldorf Education Association

Windsong School served a diverse student body of 152 students in the 2021-2022 school year. Our faculty and staff roster included 13 full and part-time lead teachers and 7 support staff. Our Tuition Affordability Program enabled 29 low income students to enroll in our school. Windsong celebrated its 10th year in operation.The Organization began to rebound from the harsh effects of the pandemic. Our enrollment numbers were recovering to pre-pandemic numbers.The community participated in our first Knit-a-Thon fundraiser to replace our previous annual auction.
