Space Between

Space Between taught mindfulness to students, teens, educators, and family members. We served about 3,299 people during the 2023-2024 school year, including 1,985 students in school programs, 56 in family programs, and 325 families in schools. We also facilitated 10 professional development workshops, 3 educator and care giver retreats, and 2 programs serving teens.our impact is acknowledged by people in our anonymous surveys: 100% of teachers believe mindfulness is an important practice for the classroom. 94% of students noticed positive differences since learning mindfulness (e.g. Calmer, less angry, less worried, more focused, etc.). 97% of teachers saw an increase in student compassion toward self and others. 78% of students practice mindfulness outside of school 94% of teachers saw changes in students' ability to regulate emotions.
