K9 the Soww charity dog program, in conjunction with baden k-9, offers an all-encompassing training initiative for dogs that encompasses various roles, including service dogs, family protection dogs, and animals suited for law enforcement or military duties. Specializing in individualized, one-on-one training, baden k-9 ensures that each dog and owner pair receives customized training to meet their unique needs. This approach guarantees top-tier instruction delivered by seasoned experts who have accumulated years of hands-on experience. Rooted in values of integrity, fortitude, and dignity, baden k-9 has cultivated a robust training philosophy over time. Notably, the program takes pride in its selection of german, dutch, and belgian shepherds, with a meticulous matching process to pair each recipient with the dog best suited to their requirements. In collaboration with baden k-9, the Soww program extends to deserving recipients not only trained animals but also comprehensive guidance in handling, all at zero cost to the operator. Furthermore, the program covers travel expenses associated with the initial training phase. This joint effort aims to provide vital support to individuals who can benefit from the companionship and assistance of these specialized dogs. Beyond their primary roles, these dogs contribute to mental well-being by offering emotional support and promoting mental health. Having a purpose-driven canine partner fosters a sense of purpose, protection, and teamwork. These animals become sources of motivation and companionship, enriching lives and fostering meaningful connections through shared experiences.
Pts retreats: Soww pts weeklong retreats & clinicians work with qualifying soliders to develop individual plans, using techniques easy to incorporate into their daily life. Professional clinicians, trained in mindfulness, yoga, and body-focused techniques, help soliders feel setttled and able to manage life stressors. We utilize evidence-based techniques to tolerate distress, regulate and manage difficult emotions, target negative thinking, and develop adaptive responses to stressors. Participants will engage in practices to develop healthy communication skills, reduce trauma symptons, and regain healthy functioning. All services are provided at no cost to the individual war fighter.
Soww Corp was formed for the sole purpose of recognizing both active duty and veteran members of our united states special operations forces with charitable outdoor events, family retreats, and focused therapeutic treatments. Soww recognizes that as the war on terrorism continues, special operations forces will be facing new challenges all too frequently. Hunting and fishing trips: qualifying candidates were treated to a 3-day retreat in myrtle beach, sc. The trip included all transportation costs, lodging, and meals. The program consists of a dinner honoring all attendees followed by a pheasant tower shooting experience. Each wounded warrior is teamed up with individuals interested in meeting and honoring the individual wounded special operations veterans into an environment that promotes networking, fellowship, relaxation and sharing of experiences all within the confines of a remote location that separates the individual from the day to day stresses of the world.
