Southwest Georgia Housing Opportunities Fmrly Homeless Resource Network

The organization partners with the community to seek solutions to homelessness. In fiscal year 2021-22 the organization engaged 174 households in Homeless service programs. An additional 64 households comprised of low income people living with hiv/aids received Housing services. We assisted 66 people to obtain birth certificates for identification and Housing, and obtained 55 other identification documents for clients, with 28 people obtaining free or reduced cost identification. Bus identification and tickets were provided to 48 individuals experiencing homelessness. The organization assisted 58 households experiencing homelessness to obtain permanent Housing, and 24 households received emergency assistance to avoid homelessness. Another 12 low-income households received additional Housing support in the form of regular case management and ongoing subsidized Housing.
