Description
Southwest Alternate Media Project promotes the creation and appreciation of film and new media as art forms of its diverse, multicultural community. Its fiscal sponsorship program allows media artists to access foundation and government grant funding that may only be accessible to nonprofit organizations or fiscally sponsored projects. Swamp does not fund the sponsored projects, but acts as a nonpro. Additionally, it offers other programs that promote film as an art, provide public awareness about Southwest Alternate Media Project and make information available to aspiring filmmakers.
