The Southern Rio Grande Diversified Crop Farmers Association works with the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer and the New Mexico Court System to obtain equitable surface and underground water rights for all diversified farmers in the Southern Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico, including all irrigated lands. The Association represented members regarding Water Right Issue 101 before the Third Judicial District Court of New Mexico, resulting in a court settlement in 2011 that provided for 4.5 acre feet of adjudicated water. The Association is located in Mesilla Park, NM.
