Gathering, tabulating, aggregating, and disseminating, among its members and associate members, information concerning the industry; improving the industry in every proper and lawful manner, meeting at stated periods to facilitate industry education relative to the "best practices" of conducting business of the industry based on practical experience and strong ethics; improving technologies and developing common products across the industry to facilitate the transportation of goods in commerce.
Delivery of educational and conference activities to encourage better understanding of the various types of organizations involved in the transportation of property and current trends in the industry regarding regulations, best practices, etc. Funded partly by participants' registration fees.
Facilitating Association activities and position interaction among members in the industry of transportation of property, and supporting the industry by carrying out the purposes and functions of the organization stated in the organizational mission.
