Program areas at Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

Championships:the sciac sponsors 21 championships including men's and women's cross country, men's and women's water polo, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, baseball, men's and women's golf, softball and women's lacrosse.approximately 3,000 students participant in these championships which are provided to elevate the student-athlete experience and determine the Conference representative to the ncaa tournament.
Officiating:in a normal year - we spend about 30k each year to provide officiating across our 21 sports. These individuals are in-charge of assigning the officials to all of our games as well as education during the season to the officials for improvement. We also work with officials out of season on education and imrpovement. We have programs in place during the season to evaluate the officials and also allow the coaches to communicate with them. About 1500 officials work the different sports in the sciac.
