Program areas at Moab Museum
Developed and delivered exhibitions, public programs, events and activities to share stories about the geology and cultural history of se Utah and the Colorado plateau. Exhibitions included a grand heritage and the people's tapestry: weaving tradition in navajo culture (with weaving demonstrations & workshops), stock built this town Moab, international heritage breeds week, and temple grandin ph.d. lecture and site visits.
Expanded programmatic collaborations with community partners, including science Moab, Moab Arts, canyonlands field institute, usu/moab & usu extension, grand county school district, Moab valley cultural center, and Moab charter school.
Consolidated all collections objects in a new collections storage facility and began quarantine, identification, classification, organization and housing of specimens, perishable & fragile objects, artifacts, geologic objects, mechanical devices, photographs, furniture, ephemera, etc.
