Program areas at Southeastern Indiana Independent Living Center

Siilc offers Independent Living programs and services designed to maximize the independence of individuals with disabilities. Such il services include but are not limited to: information and referral, advocacy, Independent Living skills training, peer support, access to assistive technology devices, and transitions services.siilc's home care program provides supportive home-based mon-medical alternatives to nursing facility care by providing personal assistance services in the homes of individuals needing such services as homemaker services. Siilc's older blind program is a vision assistance program designed to provide assistance to individuals 55 and older experiencing blindness or severe vision loss and/or impairments otherwise not corrected by basic optical lenses with alternative assistive technology devised and/or trainng to better imprve their independence.
