North Carolina Invasive Plant Council

The North Carolina Invasive Plant Council is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2002 with the goal of protecting and conserving the native ecosystem of North Carolina by focusing on the threats posed by exotic and invasive plants. It is led by a team of highly devoted volunteers, comprised of scientists, private and public land managers, volunteer stewards, and concerned citizens. The website also provides information on education, management options for invasive plants, laws and policies, as well as upcoming events and projects related to invasive plant species in North Carolina.
