Program areas at Southeast Alaska State Fair
The Great Alaska Craft Beer & Home Brew Festival showcases beers from all over Alaska and the Yukon, and draws a crowd from all over North America. We proudly present the best brews from over 25 regional breweries, cideries, and distributors across the region. The event begins with a gourmet brewers dinners on Friday evening and is followed the next day by 4 hours of exquisite brews, great food, good music, and most important of all, great company with like-minded enthusiasts!
The Southeast Alaska State Fair is a community event organized and orchestrated for the betterment of both our local community and those around us. The Southeast Alaska State Fair hosts a 4 day event full of art, music, food and family for everyone to enjoy. Many attendees come from surrounding communities to take part in the four days of fun. There is a logging contest, a children's stage, fair rides and a variety of live music on the big stage.
Fisherman's BBQ is a community event held at the beginning of the summer. It is a time for everyone to come together and celebrate before the fishing season starts.
Southeast Alaska State Fair Inc enriches community by hosting celebrations of heritage, creativity, and social exchange. Southeast Alaska State Fair hosts many programs throughout the year for community enjoyment. Events such as Winter Fest, Crafters Hall, and Spring Fling provide little to no revenue but allow the community to come together and celebrate. Southeast State Fair staff is dedicated to maintaining the grounds for public use for Disc Golf, Hocky, Farmer's Markets and more.
