Program areas at South Delta Planning and Development District
Sdpdd has been selected by the Delta workforce investment board to be the fiscal agent to administer 13,000,000 throughout the fourteen county workforce area. One-stop centers have been created and youth programs have been implemented.
Medical assistance program is a state wide program designed to offer assistance to qualified medicaid beneficiaries. This program allows qualified individuals to remain in a home or community-based setting as an alternative to nursing facility care or other institutional care.
South Delta's area agency on aging (aaa), through networking with other agencies, offers the ways and means through which assistance to older americans can be obtained.
Sdpdd operates various other programs to assist local units of government and provide services to the disadvantaged.
