Program areas at SCLARC

SCLARC was organized in accordance with the provisions of the Laterman Development Disabilities Services Act of the Welfare and Institutions Code of California. In accordance with the "Act", SCLARC works in partnership with people with developmental disabilities to live independent, productive and satifying lives within their community. SCLARC strives to lessen development delays in infants and young children, and to minimize the risk of developmental disablities among the services and support. SCLARC provides or coordinates diagnosis and assessment, individualized planning, service coordination, early intervention and prevention, community living options, supported work and vocational programs, advocacy, training, educational opportunities and other support services for consumer and families out of homes.
