Sound Learning provides learner-centered instruction to adults in Mason and Thurston Co. Our mission is dedicated to improving literacy and helping students navigate community systems, progress along career and college pathways, and realize their goals. Our Adult Basic Education programs offer English, reading, writing, math, technology skills upgrade, GED prep, High School + Diploma, citizenship prep, workplace training or college ready skills upgrade.

Program areas at Sound Learning

Adult Basic Education programs include English, reading writing, math and technology skills along with GED prep and High School + Diploma; academic, workplace, and training or college ready skills upgrade, and citizenship prep. Sound Learnings mission is to educate adults to succeed and contribute to society. We just finished our 30th year providing adults and out of school youth (age 16 +) with the tools necessary to succeed. During 2022-23, we served 224 students who were working towards their studies and achieving their goals. Our volunteers donated 3,059 hours tutoring our students.
