Program areas at SCES

The community choices program provided home care support in fy2022 for 1,724 elders who are eligible for mass health coverage and at risk of placement in a long-term facility. This program is supported primarily by medicaid funding.
The home care program provided Services in fy2022 to 11,952 older residents of cambridge and somerville who need assistance so they may continue to live independently and safely at home. Depending on income and eligibility, Services may be state-subsidized. The program is funded primarily by government contracts.
During fy2022, the adult family care program provided a supportive family environment for 2,672 people with disabilities who need personal care and housing. This program is supported primarily by medicaid funding.
Other Services provided by the organization in fy2022 include case management, information referral, transportation, health screening, friendly visiting, nutrition, chore, protective and homemaker Services.
