Land conservation: through community partnerships and collaboration with landowners, Somerset Woods Trustees conserves Somerset county's special places for the benefit of all. Our lands portfolio includes more than 2,000 acres conserved in perpetuity and managed for wildlife habitat, sustainable forestry, outdoor recreation and climate resiliency.
Environmental education: Somerset Woods Trustees hosts educational programs and activities including guided walks, presentations, and workshops designed to increase appreciation for and stewardship of the natural world.
Outdoor recreation: Somerset Woods Trustees builds and maintains trails for non-motorized recreation for community use. We believe in inclusive public access to the outdoors to enhance public health and enjoyment of the outdoors.
