Solid Waste Association of North America New York Chapter

During the period of 07/01/2021 to 06/30/2022, our annual conference was held in person in 2022 with 520 partipants and 100 exhibitors and sponsors participating over the four day event. This conference is the largest program held. We also conduct technical seminars typically in the fall or winter. Our annual meeting is typically held during the annual conference or virtually. Our membership is 407. We have a registration with our national organization to provide access to members to research reports prepared on behalf of the national swana organization. We have reviewed publicly policy bills related to Solid Waste management and recycling and supported the product stewardship institute and the other nys recycling organizations in their efforts.
