Program areas at Sojourner House

Sojourner House is a long term residential style treatment program for mothers experiencing substance use disorders that allows their children to remain with them. We offer a holistic approach for treating substance use disorders while maintaining the family unit. Each family has an apartment provided with basic necessities. Mother's attend groups, individual therapy, parenting classes, and family oriented programs. The children are enrolled into school and address their basic needs including medical appointments, support for educational needs such as iep's, and activities based on curriculum from nurturing families.
