Program areas at Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics

The Society sponsors an annual meeting each year. This program is planned to meet the needs of pediatricians, pediatric psychologists, nurses, social workers and other healthcare providers and researchers interested in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. A variety of educational formats will encourage the exchange of new scientific and clinical information and support the interchange of opinions regarding care and management issues relevant to Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Scientific material is presented through symposia, oral abstracts, small group sessions designed for in-depth exploration of specific topics, and poster presentations.
The Society provides convenient electronic services to its members such as listserves, website access, annual surveys, online registrations and dues renewal, electronic balloting, online directory, publications, notifications of upcoming events and opportunities and meeting materials.
The Society produces a bimonthly journal devoted to the Developmental and psychosocial aspects of pediatric health care.
The Society supports quality research and international programs focused on the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
The leadership of the Society meets periodically to help shape the future of the Society and the field of developmental-behavior Pediatrics.
