In 2022, SRW settled a case against Idaho Power Company for Clean Water Act permit violations at Brownlee Dam, resulting in more than $550,000 in funds donated to Nez Perce Tribe projects to restore stream habitat. The Company responded to SRW's litigation.

In 2023, SRW brought a landmark lawsuit against J.R. Simplot for unpermitted pollution by its 150,000 head cattle operation in Grand View, Idaho; worked with the Nez Perce tribe to restore salmon and steelhead habitat using SEP funds from its Idaho Power case, joined as amici at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in support of the Shoshone Bannock Tribe's opposition to BLM and J.R. Simplots attempted land swap to dispose of nuclear and phosphate mining waste on Reservation lands, hosted its SWIM Guide app for the 8th year, and organized an annual river cleanup.
