Degree shift represents our commitment to spearheading campaigns and activations that convene communities for collective positive impact. We utilize multiple catalysts to amplify the reach and impact of our shared causes. Always accessible to people of differing abilities, degree shift is a testament to our belief in the power of collaborative efforts to drive meaningful change. In 2023, sixdegrees launched drag is an art, drag is a right to raise funds for the aclu drag defense fund. This campaign was meant to increase both financial support and visible advocacy for the lgbtqia+ community that has been increasingly threatened through more than 450 anti-ltbtqia+ bans across the country, largely affecting the rights and safety of trans youth, their families, and even healthcare providers. They created apparel items to serve as a fundraiser and awareness amplification tool. We achieved close to 109mm impressions, raised more than $57k and sold 3,672 apparel items.
Causevolve is sixdegrees' social impact production to crafting impactful narratives for change. In 2023, sixdegrees lauched six degrees with kevin bacon podcast. In 4 months it became a top 1% of all podcasts with more than 395,500 downloads. It became the #1 nonprofit podcast in the us, canada, great britain and many others and raised awareness for 16 nonprofits. It ended 2023 with an anthem award for best podcast in humanitarian action & services podcast or audio.
Bkxkb is our flagship program dedicated to the procurement and distribution of essential care items. Through a robust network of vetted partners, we ensure that essential resource kits reach those who need them the most. These kits, meticulously curated to meet critical needs, embody our commitment to making a tangible and positive impact in the lives of individuals facing various challenges. We launched the footloose 40th anniversary campaign and supported 1,050 individuals lacking basic essential resources by distributing more than 26,100 items powered by 260 volunteer hours.
