Early childhood grant is a program developed to empower individuals and their communities to achieve results for improving the quality of life for children through the age of five and their families.
Beyond the bell - before and after school program and summer program that serves children from pre-k to 8th grade. The beyond the bell programs are held at various public and parochial school locations in sioux city and south sioux city. The program includes academic tutoring, recreation, field trips, arts and crafts, service learning, family literacy events, and other enrichment activities.
Child welfare - Iowa department of Human services decategorization (dcat) - decategorization initiative designed to redirect child welfare and juvenile justic funding to services which are more preventative, family centered, and community-based in order to reduce use of more restrictive approaches.
