Program areas at Singula Institute

Clinical research projects:our board members and advisors worked together on further developing goals and anticipated outcomes of clinical research as part of a clinical research working committee. Our main clinical research protocol was submitted to and approved by our institutional review board and published on clinicaltrials.gov.
Educational resources:dr. marc lener and the marketing and communications working committee continued to contribute medical knowledge to a wide variety of professional and educational online publications and platforms which are distributed free to the public online.
Healthcare operations:information technology, human resources, facilities, and compliance infrastructures were created in order to launch the clinical research program alongside the development of business development and operational plans.
Student internships:undergraduate and graduate student interns have worked with us covering a broad array of interests and needs, such as public health, healthcare business, and marketing and communications.
Educational talks:as part of the social impact program offering from Singula, dr. marc lener provided several talks in the new york metropolitan area to speak about mental healthcare and community programming.on tuesday, may 10th, 2022, dr. marc lener gave a talk at an event hosted by the saks fifth avenue foundation and bring change to mind, as part of a panel discussion with hr professionals to discuss the mental health needs at the workplace. Dr. lener spoke about the shared responsibility of the employer and employee to care for the mental health of their organization. There were roughly 350 employees in attendance.on may 26th, 2022, at the nasdaq bell closing, dr. marc lener gave a talk on the importance of addressing mental health needs through closing system gaps. During relevant awareness months, nasdaq provides selected non-profit organizations with the opportunity to speak about their mission. In the learning mental health system that Singula Institute proposes to build, dr. lener proposes a new diagnostic system based on biopsychosocial aspects that addresses the whole person in their mental healthcare. A video was distributed and made free to the public through their social media accounts.on friday, june 3rd, 2022, dr. marc lener gave a talk at the 2022 gala for the boys & girls club of northern westchester. As part of a panel discussion, dr. lener addresses the need for community programs to aid in the overall support for those at mental health risk. There were roughly 500 invitees in attendance.
