Silica Fume Association

The Silica Fume Association advances the use of silica fume in the nation's concrete infrastructure, while also providing public education on its benefits and monitoring legislation affecting its promotion and use. In cooperation with NIST, they are producing a standardized model for life-cycle costing of concrete treatments where chloride exposure is critical. They also develop and disseminate fact sheets, project profiles, slide sets, and other general information tools to aid in communication initiatives. The association is located in Lovettsville, VA.
