Program areas at Sigma Kappa Sorority
Collegiate: general management and educational services of chapters and those expenditures relating to the administration and education of 118 collegiate chapters and over 10,000 collegiate members.
Convention is a blend of business meetings, sisterhood opportunities and educational programs. Educational sessions and keynote speakers are designed to benefit collegians, alumnae and national officers, focusing on topics relevant to all members of Sigma Kappa to further career goals and navigating challenges throughout life.
The emerging leaders conferences (elc) are a leadership program for collegiate emerging leaders, chapter officers and advisors. The elc curriculum and overall experience focuses on leadership and personal development topics specific to the needs of emerging and current leaders. The elcs strive to develop emerging leaders, expand on leadership skills for officers and lay the groundwork for strong working relationships between officers and advisors. Through a mix of general sessions and small cohort groups led by trained facilitators, attendees learn about leadership skills and how they can be used, both in their chapters and in everyday situations.
