Shirley and Leonard Goldstein Supporting Foundation

Grants totaling $108,004 were awarded to the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Inc. whose mission is to build and sustain a strong and vibrant Jewish community and to support Jews in Israel and around the world. The Shirley & Leonard Goldstein Supporting Foundation supported activities for the benefit of the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Inc. including funding for its agencies to provide to the Jewish community such things as scholarships, financial assistance to those in need, and educational and cultural programs.

Grants totaling $19,058 were awarded to Friedel Jewish Academy for programs which supported sustainability initiatives, educational activities and community engagement.

Grants totaling $25,650 were awarded to the Halachic Organ Donor Society Inc. in support of its program whose mission is to save lives by increasing organ donation from Jews to the general public.

The Shirley and Leonard Goldstein Supporting Foundation conducts and supports activities for the benefit of the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Inc. and other organizations operated exclusively for charitable, educational, religious or scientific purposes as described in IRC Section 501(c)(3). In addition to the programs listed, $133,052 was granted for this purpose.
