Program areas at Seven Valleys Health Coalition
Coordinate with surrounding counties to promote Health and human services in rural areas. As part of this program, the Seven Valleys food rescue (svfr), picks up excess healthy, perishable food from local donors (grocery stores, restaurants, local farms, etc.) And delivers it to local organizations and community programs that feed food insecure community members. Not only does this reduce landfill waste, but it also connects people to healthy food
Present workshops for diabetics,sponsor support groups and diabetes education programs.
