Senior Dog Haven and Hospice

This fiscal year we rescued 116 Senior dogs.we found permanent homes for 77 (this includes dogs already in our rescue at the beginning of the current fy). 28 dogs were deemed Hospice and 22 have since passed away.in addition we are taking care of 5 Hospice dogs that are still with us from the previous fiscal year. We have helped 32 owners keep their pets by funding medical care. 17 longterm dogs from this year and the prior fy that are still searching for a forever home. We celebrated our 1000th save during this fiscal year. Jubilees is now living happily in her "furever home". We continue to take in the worst of the worst in terms of physical health. These are dogs that would be euthanized by the shelter if we could not take them. As a result of these rescues our cost for providing medical care continues to rise for each Dog.
