Our nutritional services support independence of seniors and allow the parties to remain living in their homes. This service causes lower community costs for lodging and heathcare for seniors and provides for rapid post surgery recovery. Our volunteers become a valuable social network for home bound clients. Nutritional services contribute to and extend the independence of seniors to remain in their own homes. These services save tax dollars and promote recovery and return to better health after surgery or illness. MEALS ON WHEELS Home Delivered Meal Program: Monday through Friday, a hot meal is delivered to clients homes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and frozen meal is delivered Tuesday and Thursday with 2 additional meals for the weekend if needed. During this fiscal year, we provided 19,854 meals to 173 unduplicated clients in the Greater Sedona Area. CONGREGATE MEALS - "To Go" Monday thru Friday a hot meal at the center through March 28,2022 when dinning room meals reopened. We provided 3,854 meals to 110 unduplicated clients. BREAKFAST CLUB - On Fridays'a bag of breakfast food items delivered to clients who request the service. Approximately 2,271 bags of food, 5 meals each, were delivered each Friday, to 55 unduplicated clients.
