We promoted Scottsdale, Arizona by advertising in numerous advertising mediums, both domestically and internationally. In 2021-22, we executed 43 advertising placements - 34 traditional and 9 online.
We participated in 118 tourism and 204 Convention prospecting activities (city, state, nation and world-wide) to promote conventions and tourism in Scottsdale, Arizona. These activities included 80 trade shows, 26 sales missions, 151 fams and site inspections and 65 individual product trainings and client events.
We produced 7 brochures relating to the promotion of conventions and tourism in Scottsdale, Arizona. These brochures include visitor guides, maps, calendars of events, hiking and walking guides, and others.
We promoted Scottsdale, Arizona in newspapers, magazines, radio, broadcast, and top social outlets both domestically and internationally and placed 4,059 stories. We met with 238 journalists through 11 out-of-market events (in person and virtual) including media missions, tradeshows, and conferences. We assisted 1,242 journalists with information about Scottsdale, Arizona and hosted 240 writers to visit the destination first-hand.
