Santa Clara County Girls Athletics

In the spring and summer of 2019 the lady sharks assembled six teams consisting of one 12u, three 14u, and one 18 and under divisions this fiscal year. Average team consisted of 13 players and played 10 tournaments during the summer season. The focus for each team was to develop players' skills and knowledge for the game while successfully competing in tournaments. The 18u qualified for pgf nationals. The other teams either attended triple crown events. Our older team also particpated in all the major college showcase tournaments throughout California and colorado.in the fall of 2019 the lady sharks fielded six teams in the age groups two 14u, one 16u and one 18. There were approximately 52 players, averaged 13 players per team and each team particpated in five tournaments and every team performed very well. The objective was to develop and rebuild our lower divisions while developing players for the upcoming 2020 spring and summer season.the primary goal for the 18u teams is to give young female atheletes the opportunity to hopefully obtain a college scholarship or attend a college of their choice. The focus was to compete at a higher level and hopefully atttract the attention of college coaches. This year five of our high school seniors received a scholarsihp to attend a major college or university. We also had four juniors who were verbally accepted into colleges of their choice.
