Certifications - in an increasingly projectized world, pmi professional certification ensures professionals are ready to meet the demands of projects and employers across the globe. Recognized by organizations and governments around the world, pmi certifications provide the opportunity for Project Management practitioners to demonstrate their accomplishments through the rigorous examination process. Developed by practitioners for practitioners, pmi certifications are based on rigorous standards and ongoing research to meet the real-world needs of organizations. With a pmi certification, professional can work in virtually any industry, anywhere in the world, and with any Project Management methodology. Wherever a professional is in their career, pmi has a certification. Pmi's globally recognized Project Management professional (pmp) certification is the most coveted Project Management certification, with nearly 1.5 million pmp certification holders around the world as of december 2022. Pmi also offers other specific certifications, including the pmi professional in business analysis (pmi-pba), program Management professional (pgmp), portfolio Management professional (pfmp), pmi risk Management professional (pmi-rmp), and pmi scheduling professional (pmi-sp). Pmi also certifies newer Project Management practitioners through its certified associate in Project Management (capm) certification. Events and seminars - pmi hosts numerous types of events to bring together practitioners from around the world to network and enhance their knowledge of Project Management. This includes annual congresses in europe, africa and the middle east (emea); smaller regional events in asia pacific and latin american; as well as regular in-depth seminars called seminarsworld. At pmis annual global conference in north america, thousands of Project and program managers, chapter leaders, and business professionals from around the world come together to share knowledge, strengthen community and lead the evolution of the Project Management profession. Additionally, pmi annually hosts its pmo symposium, a must-attend event for program, portfolio, pmo and organizational Project Management leaders responsible for the success of their organization's key initiatives. The three-day event symposium provides attendees with access to pmo experts so that they can learn, network, and gain practical, real-world expertise to take their pmos to the next level.
