Program areas at Financial Literacy International

FLI oversees the operation of a medical clinic located near a large Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh. Quality medical services are provided to those in need of treatment for various physical conditions. The clinic has a pharmacy which dispenses needed medicines. The clinic treats thousands of patients each year.
Mission projects - FLI conducts various projects throughout the year. Projects include literature distribution, medical assistance, teaching English as a second language, and humanitarian efforts designed to provide for basic human needs.
SALT program - FLI operates a micro-finance program which concentrates on establishing savings groups in rural areas of Bangladesh. These groups help villagers rise out of poverty by providing financial economic teaching. FLI had several hundred savings groups with thousands of participants during the year. The program also encompasses teaching good agriculture practices to improve crop yields.
