Program areas at S K I P Community Resource Services
Through a collaboration with 4 community organization SKIP serviced 175 students with education and enrichment with our Saturday programs. KAMP KARACTer summer program over 20 guest speakers to mentor over 25 students Food Bank and Panera Bread outreach for the SKIP families Expenses were donated through in-kind services and resources
Our third area of focus is to advocate throughout multiple forums on the plight of this group of children. Networking and speaking at various platforms and organizations that operate in this arena
Established an online academy for students providing spelling, reading, math, health exercise, art, plus moral and social appropriateness awareness classes. Maintained a much needed food bank
Program was able to adapt to COVID 19 environment with a minimal of interruptions.
