Rural Health Innovation Collaborative

Continued to develop, improve and expand education and training of current and future health care professionals, especially those committed to serving rural and underserved populations. This was accomplished through the following:Developed patient safety and quality initiatives and had involvement in national and regional simulations. Additional received accreditation in teaching/education and systems integration.Collaborated with Indiana State Department of Health for COPD-COVID readmissions and for neonatal/obstetrical emergency training.Continued the contract with the Indiana Hospital Association for training and education. Additionally, contracted with local hospitals to provide training services.
