TEACHING: Programs offered to students earning Certificates Diplomas Bachelors Masters & Doctoral degrees. For Fall 2023 semester there were 39,461 Full-time and Part-Time students registered. RESEARCH: The overall research activity is generally summarized as two main streams: direct research grants and contracts and infrastructure grants. ACADEMICS FACILITIES: Supports Teaching and Research functions e.g. libraries IT services & Campus Maintenance
COMMUNITY SERVICES: Include non-credit courses workshops seminars conferences and the use of university personnel expertise in joint projects with other organizations.
STUDENT SERVICES: Programs and activities intended to support and enhance campus life and the well being of the students attending the university. These include primarily financial aid in the form of Scholarships fellowships prizes and awards that are given based on scholastic achievement. Bursaries are given purely on the basis of need. Other services include health care physical and mental; career counseling and the availability of sports and sporting facilities. All of these activities are maintained on both campuses of the University.
Other program service expenses are those related to the universitys ancillary operations including but not limited to: residence catering parking printing and the campus bookstore. Other Program Services include administrative and managerial salaries as well as inventory sold and equipment maintenance. Includes adjustment of $2,585,223 for Part IX Line 3 Grants and allocations reported in Program Service instead of Management and general expenses.
